EnglishOils made from selected fractions of paraffinic oils with high resistance to oxidation and high temperatures, making them particularly apt for metal hardening.
The main properties of these oils are: high chemical stability against oxidation, which provides the oil with a long life, high thermal stability to molecular changes (cracking), enabling it to withstand continuous thermal shocks due to repeated dipping of hot parts, high flash point ensuring low evaporation, and optimal demulsivity, for a rapid separation of water vapor.
According to their version, our oils can be used for conventional tempering of steel with a good temperability and for tempering oddly-shaped pieces, thanks to their enhanced wetting action.
Metal Tempering oils are available in bulk and packaged.
