EnglishTURBINE OILS have excellent features due to the use of selected paraffinic bases, specifically additivated, that allow a proper lubrication for each type of turbine.
Properties and Benefits
TURBINE OILS can be distinguished by :
- high demulsivity (i.e. rapid separation from water)
- optimal resistance to the formation of foam and the withholding of air (air release)
- excellent resistance to oxidation and wear. In fact, they exceed 4000 hours in the Turbine Oil Oxidation Test (ASTM D 943)
- prime antirust and anticorrosion features
Applications, Specifications and Approvals
Available in various viscosities, they are apt for lubricating vapor, gas or hydraulic turbines. They meet the following requisites :
- DIN 51515 Part 1 e 2
- BRITISH STANDARD BS 489
- ALSTOM HTGD 90117 V0001 (non EP)
- GENERAL ELECTRIC GEK 27070, 28143A, 32568F and 46506D
- SIEMENS TLV 9013 04 (non EP)
Turbine oils are available in bulk and packaged.
